Radon System Installation

Here an installation technician is fastening a vapor barrier on an, Phase two, old stone wall. This technique is used when radon is suspected in penetrating through the porous wall structure. This technique applies vacuum under the floor and to the walls. This is a more complicated system.
Installation supervisor Lee Palm, is tightening the bands on the rubber acoustic dampening bushings on a nearly complete installation The large assembly in the center is the vacuum pump or fan. This is what lowers the pressure under the slab which draws the Radon out before it gets into the basement.
We bring a compact trailer with us which has in inventory all the parts necessary for an installation, speeding up the job, having everything necessary at the time of installation. Pictured is the Mitigator, Robert Drennan.
